What’s this about?

Hello, everyone.  Thank-you for your interest in my blog!

A bit about me…

I am a librarian in a mid-sized public library system in a mid-sized city in Ontario, Canada. My interests range from the uber-geeky to pseudo-intellectual, and back again. (Or are they the same thing?) I am moderately comfortable as far as techy things go, and always enjoy expanding my knowledge in that department. My favourite things to do: read, write, drink tea, ramble in the great outdoors. Sometimes all together.  I am a graduate of the Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) program at the University of Western Ontario, Canada.  This blog began as a project for a Young Adult Materials course.  Early posts focus on various topics relating to libraries and materials for teens (books, resources for librarians, reviews, etc.).  Although the course has finished, I plan to keep the blog running, opening it up to all topics related to libraries, librarianship, and the field of information science.

Enjoy, and please feel free to comment on any of my meandering musings.

Cheers!  HJ
